Getting ready for Thanksgiving break, The Prowl Staff shared their Thanksgiving plans and traditions. 

Some of our staff members focused on their family’s food traditions. 

Olivia Danley’s (12) family has homemade cheesecake and prime ribs prepared by her dad. Maheen Ali (11) is waiting to have butter pecan pie. 

Other staff embers talked about their excitement to see family. 

Michelle Wiant (10) goes to her aunt’s house and Eva Anderson (11) goes to her grandparent’s house. Maddy Bach (11) is looking forward to seeing her family from New Jersey. Layne Sheplee (11) is excited to see her brother come back from college. Izzy Evans (10) and her family like to play Monopoly after dinner. 

Staff members also shared the activities they do with their families. 

India Ismael (12) is hoping to see “House of Gucci” over break. Katie Jones (10) went on a Disney cruise with her family a couple of weeks ago to celebrate. Teagan Sutherland (11) usually buys her Christmas tree on Thanksgiving. 

The staff was then asked if they watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and their answers are below.

Ali: Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream

Evans: Cranberry sauce 

Wiant: Mashed potatoes

Anderson: Mashed potatoes

Bach: Sweet potato pie

Jones: Stuffing

Sutherland: Stuffing
