Brooks Lemley, a 15 year old tenth grader, is a member of the Indy Nation News team. He primarily specializes in the field of sports, which is one of his favorite pastimes in his life. He’s in his second year on the broadcasting team, He runs track and cross country for Independence High School, specializing in the 800. He loves watching track and cross country runners in the olympics, specifically the Paris games, and hopes to be at that level someday. In his freetime, he loves watching basketball, specifically the National Basketball Association. He loves Ja Morant in particular for his great morale fiber, and is a huge Wizards fan. His least favorite basketball is Jayson Tatum, as he taunts the opposing team too much for his own liking. While he doesn’t love school all that much, he is a fan of his English class as well as his Physical Education class, as he gets to be active and play sports in it. He currently does not have a girlfriend, but he’s working on it! His favorite school event is hoco, which he’s happy is next weekend. Brooks is thrilled to be part of the Indy Nation News team again, and hopes to see you around the school during his interviews!
