‘20-’21 Senior class cheered loudly during one of the many pep rally games where they competed for spirit points.

On Oct. 8, 2021 Independence had their 2021-22 Homecoming Pep Rally; this was the first in-person pep rally back at Independence since the winter pep rally on Dec. 12th, 2019. During the pep rally three new MCs debuted: Mick Demscak (12), Olivia Durso (12), and Maddie Stewart (12) and the Seniors took home the first spirit stick of the school year. The pep rally festivities ranged from spirit competitions, a marching band and color guard performance, homecoming court presentation, and fall sports took the field to celebrate their ongoing seasons.
