Life doesn’t seem all that bad when every day is a holiday. Holiday Insights has a list of holidays for every day, and most of them are shown on this calendar. Below are descriptions about some of the most interesting holidays.

Old Stuff Day: This day is for people who are sick of doing the same old thing. Take this day to try to do something new, whether it’s baking or finally getting around to doing work.

Panic Day: Although the reason as to how this day came about is unknown, it’s fun to assume that people were too panicked to record it. Panic Day has a simple meaning: it’s a day to panic. This day is a day to let go and allow oneself to panic. However, after the day is over it’s time to be calm again.

International Day of Awesomeness: Created by a group of coworkers, most notably Kevin Lawver, Fred Maneiro and Dan Lurie, this day is simply for appreciating things that are awesome or making things awesome. After a suggestion from Maneiro, Lawver made a day to celebrate awesomeness and promoted it on Twitter. Lurie came up with the slogan, “Because everyone needs an excuse to be awesome,” while Lawver’s daughter made a new slogan that states, “No one’s perfect, but everyone can be awesome.”

International Day of Happiness: Another positive holiday in March, according to the United Nations (UN), “Today is a day to be happy, of course!” The day was founded by Jayme Illien, CEO of the UN New World Order, and is celebrated as a way to recognize the importance of happiness everywhere, especially in others.
