One film in the 2024 Indy Film Festival, “Scarecrow” starring Sebastian Serna, and Javien Broughton, is filled with suspense, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
The movie surrounds a young boy and his journey being chased by the one they call the scarecrow. Facing already previous trauma from the death of his mother. The boy goes on the chase of his life. Who is the scarecrow, why are they doing this? Could it be a random assailant looking for blood or someone he knows? These are all questions the viewer will have until they watch this film. Get ready for the thrill of your life.
The suspense throughout the film, although it isn’t even 10 minutes long, makes for a great watch. The directors did a great job, and will certainly be in contention to win the Film Festival.
The film was directed by 1X Film Festival winner Jax Azad. Jax was an important part in this film as he directed the entire film as well as the script. Jax previously won the Film Festival last year for his animated film ROTO. Jax looks to repeat this success and take home some more trophies at this year’s Film Festival. Although, he will be competing with many other top tier films.
Film Festival voting ends April 4, and the winner will be announced the following week.
